The child has one intuitive aim: self development

This week saw the first of the basketball tournaments to be played amongst the schools in the Risborough Sports Partnership group. The Year 2s had a great afternoon and were proud to not only win their event but be awarded the Fair Play Award too! Big thank you to the team at Risborough School for organising this and the other events.

Year 5 are well under way with their Energize rehearsals and seem to be capturing the spirit of Boudicca and her tribe in their singing and dancing. Year 6 had their visit to Hazard Alley this week. This trip helps prepare them for their move to secondary school; they encounter through different scenarios some of the ‘hazards’ and real life choices they will face as they become more independent next year.

Next Friday is Be Bright Be Seen Day. This is to highlight the need to be visible to motorists and other road users, which is particularly important in the Village. So next Friday the children need to come in their brightest outfits!
