Welcome to Naphill and Walters Ash School. I am truly delighted and proud to introduce myself as the new Headteacher and to be joining this very special school community.
Naphill and Walters Ash School is a place where high standards and strong achievement sit alongside genuine care and support for every child. We encourage our children to think independently, make meaningful links in their learning and develop a deep respect for the world around them. Our 5 Rs are at the heart of daily life in school, and we love celebrating the many ways our children demonstrate these values. We firmly believe that when children live out the 5 Rs both in and beyond school, they are well prepared for future success.
The pastoral care of our children and families is extremely important to us. We know that children thrive best when school and home work closely together, and we greatly value the strength of our partnerships with parents and carers. Our committed governors ensure the school is well led and managed, and WANSA (our PTA) continues to play a wonderful role in supporting and enriching school life.
We are proud of our sporting successes and of the wide range of extra-curricular opportunities available to all pupils. Most importantly, we aim to nurture a positive love of learning that children will carry with them throughout their lives.
As I begin my journey at Naphill and Walters Ash School, I am very much looking forward to getting to know our children, families, staff and the wider community. Together, we will continue to build on the many strengths that already make this such a happy and successful school.
