Reasoning

It’s important to consider each other’s points of views and accept differences of opinion. We help to give our children the ability to think through problems and challenges for themselves, and be able to explain their thoughts and actions.

After School Clubs

The school offers a variety of clubs and activities that take place at lunchtime and after school. Over the past few years they have included Tag Rugby, Football, Cross-Country, Netball, Dance, Art, Gardening, Choir, Multi-Sport, Orchestra and Drama. These are organised voluntarily by the staff in addition to the work planned to take place within the curriculum and will vary according to the skills and interests of the staff in post. A clubs list is sent out to parents each term and as and when any fee paying clubs start the relevant forms are sent out.

Music Lessons

All the children participate in music lessons as part of the school curriculum. Children have the opportunity to learn specific musical instruments and have lessons at school; these lessons are provided by music teachers from the Bucks Learning Trust and other private teachers and have to be paid for. Children can learn the piano, drums, guitar, flute, clarinet, saxophone, cello and violin. Other instruments can be taught by some of the teachers and parents, you can contact the school for advice on what can be provided.
